Our Vitamark Story

Hi, We are Jim and Carol McKenzie from El Dorado, KS. We have been in Vitamark since its inception in 2002. We joined Vitamark because of their great nutritional products, their compensation plan and their travel incentives. WOW!

Setting A Diamond Goal

When someone tells you to set a date of when you will be at a certain level (Platinum, Diamond or whatever) believe them!

If you don’t it is just too easy to procrastinate or just give up when something gets in the way.  We would have made Diamond “someday, maybe”, but, until I set the goal date of October 13th, 2007 to achieve our Diamond level, it would never of happened for us.

Stumbling blocks and interferences come along, but, when I had that goal set in front of me, the perseverance and determination was there to keep us going. We did not want the embarrassment of failure, and the disappointment for us and for others we had committed to.

We picked the October date because the Jarvis Leadership Group had  an incentive program going for a free cruise. That did it! We jumped right on that, and we are heading for a free cruise this winter!

How We Made It

To reach our goal we put in some long hours each day. We made lots of phone calls, had a couple of new affiliates join the company, talked to lots of family, friends and neighbors all around. I even did a barter with my hair dresser: a product for my hair cut — although I knew her mother was in a different company.

Another thing that helped me along that week was one of my daily devotions: God gives us many gifts to serve others. “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.  For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit. To another  the gifts of healing by the same Spirit (I Corinthians 12:7-9)

When I read the gifts of healing, I knew I had to work a little harder for Vitamark. To get the life-changing product information out to as many people as possible, not necessarily for the healing but for the prevention of illness also. I was where God wanted me to be.

Our perseverance and long hours paid off because we reached our “Diamond” goal on Friday the 12th of October, so we were able to go to the Salina, KS Diamond Rally on the 13th of October as a Diamond!

Giving Thanks

We would like to thank everyone who helped us along the way to achieve our goal: our downline and our sponsors Raymond & Marsha Griggs. And we want to thank the others in our up line: Ron & Fran Flanders and Doug & Kimberr Jarvis, for all their help, support and encouragement. And thank you to Skeeter who put up with all my phone calls and questions that week. He always had an answer for me.

The convention was wonderful. We learned so much and we have found so many new Vitamark friends along our journey to where we are today.
